Organ:

Since 1973. First organ studies with Hermann Schaeffer, Mannheim. In Berlin studies with Karl Hochreither und Renate Zimmermann. 1979 double winner  (Literature and Improvisation) of the  competition of the German church music academies. 1981 A-Exam with "summa cum laude". Concert activity in several European countries and the U.S.A. 2008-2013 organ teacher at the Hochschule fuer Kirchenmusik Heidelberg. From 2013 First Organist of the German Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Jerusalem/Israel

Violin and viola:

Since 1962; 1972-1974 studies with Helmut Mendius at the Musikhochschule Mannheim. Since 1967 violinist in several orchestras and chamber music groups.

Piano:

Since 1960; 1972-1977 studies with Prof. Hans Thürwächter at the Musikhochschule Mannheim. Chamber music and vocal accompagnement.

Conductor:

1972-1977 Studies with Prof. Gerald Kegelmann and Prof. Claudio Santoro at the Musikhochschule Mannheim. 1977-1981 studies with Prof.Martin Behrmann at the Kirchenmusikschule Spandau. Since 1981 numerous choir and orchestra concerts  with the "Chor der Stadtkirche Aalen", the "Chor St. Trinitatis Wolfenbüttel",  the "Kantorei St. Michael Schlüchtern" and the "Kurpfalz Philharmonic Orchestra".1993-1997 guest conductor of the  “Meersburger Sommerakademie”. 1992-2013 conductor of the “Nord-Süddeutscher Kammerchor/Chor der Kirchenmusikalischen Fortbildungsstaette Schluechtern". From 2013 conductor of the choir of the Redeemer Church, Jerusalem.
